Subject: Bridge Street cycle ban

CycleSay, a new cycle lobby group for Peterborough cyclists, is seeking the views of cyclists and pedestrians about whether cycling should be allowed on Bridge Street.  Currently the cycle restrictions are Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm.  During these times cyclists are supposed to get off and walk.  Bridge Street is the main link connecting the north and the south of the city for cyclists.  Some do abide by the restrictions but there are some that do not, which may show that some cyclists think there should be some sort of cycle route down the Street.

CycleSay would like to know what you think to the following questions:-

1) Should cycling be allowed at all times on Bridge Street?,

2) Should the cycle restriction times be altered slightly?

3) Does the street need to be redesigned before any changes are made?
